I have not seen tablature for "Makin' The Rounds". Don't know if Doug Jernigan has tabbed this song or not - you might check his website. To me, it is a hauntingly beautiful song.

I first heard Doug play "MTR" at steel conventions/shows. What a great song and a great performance by Doug. I bought the "Country Jazz Steel Guitar" CD just for that song.

Doug has mentioned that it was recorded by Little Jimmy Dickens many years ago. It was written by the great Boudleaux Bryant.

Thanks, John Ill try his site and see.My feelings on Dougs version of the song are the same as yours. That playing on there is as smooth as greased silk!! Unbelievable, what some of these guys can pull off ,huh? Thanks again bob
