Pedal guys.. Ever try a Smith Melobar??

No its not a candy bar... I saw one on stage when we opened for some Nashville
guy with a hit record out in the early 90's.. forgot his name.. His steel player had one and I thoght it was really cool.

Fast Forward a few years.. I saw one at a local guitar shop and grabbed it @ $595... I had a tough time wielding that beast,so it didn't last long,but I just got to wondering if any of our friends here play/or have played one...

It was cool I suppose,but I'm not sure it was any more effective musically than a plain old lap guitar. It sure did LOOK impressive though!... bob
