Friday night, me and the Country Junction Band will be at Little Lou's Kitchen in Springfield starting at 6pm. Then Saturday night we'll back at Flea Country starting at 7pm. I'd like to welcome our new Drummer "Jimmy Meyers" formerly of Sawyer Brown. He's now off the road so I hired him this past weekend. Jimmy really makes us sound good. Also be sure to check out our new website at www.countryjunctionband.com.

We are playing a benefit concert for a fan this Saturday. It is a single mom who had a car wreck about a month ago. Some guy veered into her lane and hit her head on. the guy also had no insurance. The mom has numerous broken bones and internal injuries, and her 6 year old son is now a paraplegic. He will be wheelchair bound the rest of his life. We are helping to raise money for this family.

Billy, you better bundle up on your North Dakota trip. Us Texas boys don't do well in that kind of weather!

At the Stockyards Inn, at the 99th annual National Western Stock Show, in Denver. Our 3rd weekend there, and what great fun! A great group of people who enjoy and appreciate real country music! Sorry to miss your Vegas show, Ronnie. We were planning on Vegas and your show before our Stock show booking came through!

I won't be playin',but "Cigars & Cataracts", featuring Buck Reid on steel, will be performing at "Sputnik's" in Hendersonville on Fri. & Sat. nights. "C. & C." is a top -notch Country band, which includes:
Dennis Payne - lead guitar & vocals
Jack Daniels - lead guitar & vocals
Ric Boyer - bass & vocals
Jimmy Hyde - drums & vocals
Buck Reid - steel guitar
Jim Unger - fiddle

This is a "killer" band. Sputnik's is located at 125 Sander's Ferry Rd. in Hendersonville,Tn.,about 15 miles N.E. of NashVILE. They have a full bar,GREAT food,PLENTY of FREE parking,& GORGEOUS waitresses.

It's been a busy week, and I'm thankfull for the work.

Started out with our regular Tuesday night gig at the "FINISH LINE" in West Ft. Worth, and then we played Wed. and Thur. afternoon for a "Rodeo Slack Party" from two to six pm, and then last night I left there and hauled a** to play in Springtown, Tx. with Mark Abbot, from 7pm to 10pm.

I'm off tonight, but tomorrow night I play with another band, (Not sure of the Name) for a private party for a Cutting Horse Assn.
