I saw the Brad Paisley show today in Springfield,Mass. Randall Currey (sp?) handled the steel guitar position and did it very well. He had great tone, great chops, and is a VERY well rounded player. I could not see the brand of steel that he played, but it sounded awesome. If I heard correctly, he is only 24 years old too! Brad and his band are all excellent pickers, and they had some great arrangements. Was anyone else at the show??

Randle Currie, from Canada, plays a Franklin D-10 through a NV 400 amp.

He does have great chops ( you have to in a band like that!!)

I enjoyed his playing and company when I saw Brad Paisley in July.

Randle's filled this steel seat upon Jim Heffernan's departure from the BP band.

Randle used to play in Brain White's Band.

Catch him if you can!!

Randle called my dad to say his Franklin wasn't back from the previous gig, so he played his EMI on the Opry that night.
Ditto's on his wonderful playing abilities Theresa

Hey, yeah! I know who y'all are talking about. I saw him with Bryan White in Weatherford, OK, back in 1997. What a picker! I had previously seen him on TNN when it wasn't yet the Nothing Network, and he was playing QUITE some C6 on Blue Christmas. Oh, yeah--and he was 19 years old.

Randle is not only a super picker, but a very nice young man. I got to know him through his parents & when he played at The Linkon Pedal Party's in Winnipeg, MB some years ago.

I had the pleasure of selling him that EMCI which he still has in addition to his Franklin. His dad Keith is still playing Randle's Sho-Bud LDG.
Great folks!
