Someone gave me free tics to see Travis Tritt
here in Northampton.I Was wondering who might be on the steel, maybe a forum member?

Maybe his band situation has changed, but back a few years when I paid attention to him, he never had a steel player. There was a guitarist that had been with him for quite a while (can't remember his name) that used to play some steel-like licks, though.

I'm terrible with remembering names but I think Travis Tritts steel man is Steve Sturm. I had posted once that they didnt show the steel player in one of his videos and the guy sent me an email saying why. If memory serves and it usually dont the name is right.

Steve Sturm is correct. He playes a white JCH D-10.
Jeff, his guitarist is Wendell Cox from here in Georgia.

Travis's steel player is Steve Sturm. You can see him on Travis's latest video "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" playing a dobro and his JCH D-10 steel. Brett Day, Emmons S-10

Steve Sturm is correct. I used to play in his dad's band when Steve was a teenager. He played drums back then. We still trade insults on the 'net.......
