If so, how? Right now, if you start from fully off, and press down on the pedal, it gets slowly louder until right up near the end when it gets louder really quick. I'd rather a smoother taper, if it's possible.

No way that I know of, Travis. You could try one of those P.E.C. Canadian pots. They're very linear and don't have the end boost like the Clarostats.
