When I was back home in London for a week in May, I 'visited' my MusicMan 410x130 amp (in safe storage with my sister).

I've left an amp there just in case I get an offer of work there that's too good to refuse, but there hasn't been anything I've wanted to return for in six years.

So - now I'm contemplating bringing it 'home' to FL. Does anyone have an idea of how viable a change from 240 to 120 would be? If it's too expensive, I'll leave things as they are, but it IS a great amp!

Incidentally, I was on the point of selling this through Gerry Hogan's music store a few years ago, when Russ Hicks heard me play Telecaster through it when he and Jimmie were playing Gerry's Steel Festival - he said that he couldn't believe I was getting rid of such a great-sounding amp, so I took the price tag off it there and then!

I have a hankering to play through it again - so, thanks for any suggestions you may have.

You can get step down transformers for around $50.00.....they usually work either way-120 to 240 or 240 to 120
I think the big thing will be the frequency....is it 50 or 60 hz there?

This only matters if you use the hum to tune up.
