Ive just bought myself a Tubefex & got no manuel with it.I looked on the forum for the best hookup way & it seems to be ,Plug the steel into the front of Tubefex then out of the unbalanced output of the Tubefex into the IN on the back of my Nashville 400.
It works fine & there is no noise but none of my amp EQ work. Also i can only use the presets in the Tubefex allready & if i go to turn any knobs on the Tubefex it sais NO TUBE IN PRESET & the knobs do nothing. Some of the presets sound ok but i can not adjust anything on the amp or Tubefex.Hope someone can give me an easy lesson on how this thing is operated.Maybe i need a card to go in the front?I DONT KNOW.

Hi Paul.
Go here and download the manual.
www.peavey.com/support/searchmanuals/results.cfm?searchstring=tubefex . You are bypassing the preamp controls in your amp when you hook into the loop in back, also you have to use a preset with the "TB" parameter to have use of the EQ in the TubeFex. I am sending you email.

Regards,
Bob

I got mine from a music store that couldn't get it to work. I found the manual on the PV site. If you can't find it I'll email you one. There's another site you need to find that has settings like Jeff Newman's. Of course they are for the ProFex but you can use them and just add Tube to your liking to them. To find that site I would do a search on this section of the forum.

Bob beat me to the punch.
