Anyone got one of these? I want to know if you are able to drive it to full power with a guitar preamp like a Peavey tubefex, or a Behringer V-Amp Pro. I cannot drive mine hard enough to active the DDT leds with either of my preamps, and if I crank my preamps any harder, they start to clip. It sounds good if I don't overdrive the preamp, but it doesn't sound 200 watts loud if you know what I mean.

I used one of the PV260s for a while, then when we were doing outside high stage volume festivals I switched to a DPC750 for more headroom. The PV260 worked fine for small to medium clubs with a moderate stage volume. Good for a church gig too, no fan noise!

The nominal input sensitivity level is 1 volt. The Tubefex can easily produce one volt. Check your global output level on the Tubefex.

Mike,

I think the trouble is my pedal doesn't reach full output. If if take out the pedal, it shatters my windows and the runs for cover. My global pre gain and post gain are both at 100. I knew the specs said it should work.

Thanks,
Bill
