Baggs Acoustic D.I.

Has anyone out there ever tried an L.R. Baggs Acoustic D.I. with their steel setup? My boyfriend bought me one to use with my fiddle and we tried it on my steel before we took it to the show. What a difference! It really broadened up the tone and made it full and round and yet not too "bassy." Just curious.....

Haven't tried it on steel, but I love it for my two Dobros, acoustic guitars, and mandolin. makes the pickups sound much more natural.
