I'm sure this has been posted before but I just got a new Nashville 1000 and am looking for the best way to hook up. I have the basic goodrich volume pedal and a DD-3 delay. Just not used to the pre-gain post gain and all that stuff. Thanks in advance

Hi Frank, The best way to run your effects pedal,(be it a pedal, or a processor) is to: use the "POST", (the second effects loop) as the connection point.. Meaning, that you would...Come out of the "SEND"(on the Nash.) to the "INPUT" (of the pedal), then "Out" (of the pedal), to the "RETURN" (of the Nash)...That way you can switch the effect "on" or "off" via the footswitch provided with the Nash...I have a Nashville 1000 myself... Love it!!!! ..Also, just run out of your volumne pedal to the input of the Nashville...Sounds great!!.feel free to email me.....at: lusband@aol.com

Thanks Chris. Works like a charm. What a difference between that amp and the old fender bassman I've been using. Was hoping it wasnt all me...

Don't forget that the PRE EQ PATCH is best used as your volume pedal patch point to obtain full output from your pickup and to allow your equalization on the amp to remain unchanged as you move your volume pedal potentiometer back and forth. This is offered as an exclusive feature on Peavey amps.
