Just curious...what ever happened to Dani Leigh. She could sure sing a shuffle song.

She's still around. I've seen her open for Asleep at the Wheel a few times both in Houston and Austin. I think she's based in the Austin area now. Her website is dannileigh.com.

I worked a split-bill gig with Dani Leigh last year at Threadgill's. As far as I know she's still around Austin, but her band (at that time anyway) isn't really that country. Sounded more like rock to me, but super nice guys and good players.. I enjoyed her show.

Dani is a good friend for some time now and yep she lives here in Austin with her Boyfriend and Guitar player; Adam Roach. So if you want to see them you better hurry because they are moving to France in a week and they'll be gone.

Why would anyone want to leave Austin and move to France? I spent some time in France a few years ago and couldn't wait to get back to Texas.
