Alkire volume pedal--How old?

I have an Alkire volume pedal, cast aliminium, with fins, and "Alkire" cast on the top. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of the age of this thing. It has a gear drive for the pot. Thanks.

I bought an Alkire steel guitar new in 1958. I passed on the Alkire pedal and bought a DeArmond because it was cheaper. So the ALkire pedal was current in the late 50's. I would guess it was made from mid-fities until mid-sixties, maybe longer.
