I have a Carter D10 with 8 +5 knees , and two of the knees work on the C6 too.
Standard Emmons set up.
Bought this steel from Al Marcus, and i could not get used to the Double neck even though it sounds fabulous. It has a George L's, E66 on the E9, and a 10-1 on the C6 neck.Wonderful balance of tone.

It is Formica , and is a beautiful Blue Birds eye. The price is 2550.00. And the price is firm. However, shipping will be free for a limited time only!

This steel is as new as it gets! And as pretty as i have seen them.

I am selling it because i am going to a single SD 10 Williams, as the C6 is too much for me at this time in my life.I also appreciate the light weight of this Carter, and you will too.

Tel 651-407-0161 Or Email me with questions etc.
If somebody can repost the Pictures, I will send them some pictures and they can post them for me! Thanks

This was one of the nice D10 Carters. It has a good sound and plays very good.
Sonny just can't seem to decide if he wants SD10 or a D10. If I was still playing out, I would keep it. ....al

You are so right Al, but i will find what i am looking for in my next guitar.
I have tried just about every steel out there, and i know what i am looking for now.
At my age , i need a rocking chair, but will be satisfied with a SD armrest and wider knees , like you find on a Willie, for instance.

Good job on the pictures Jon,considering the poor grade of pictures i sent you.
Here is a good way to get the best that Carter offers in a Carter D10 with BCT on both necks.
I believe that would cost you 400 per neck, if it did not come free on their new guitars. If you want to save 500.00 at a minimum, jump on this guitar with both feet.
It comes with a new case, owners manual, and a book of steel guitar harmonized scales using most of the levers and knees to get all the various scales. This will keep you busy ,for sure, and give you a nice start, no matter what your skill level is.

Sonny:

As you mentioned above, BCT has been included on all Carters since about mid-1998.

For Carters manufactured before BCT was invented and patented, BCT UpGrades actually cost $250 for ONE neck and $400 for TWO necks.

Thank you Ann, I stand to be corrected as I did not know for sure. Anyway , the BCT is a wonderful asset to a Carter steel guitar.AS I recall now, i was going to put it on a 94, that did not have it and the price was 400. Thanks for updating everyone.

A buyer really has two simple decisions, buy a new Carter D10, for about 3000.00 delivered,or one practically new for 2500,00. It is not hard for me to see a heck of a deal.
I'll wait for someone who wants to save about 500.00 on a almost new Carter D10 beauty.
Serious bidders only. Remember the price is 2500.00 delivered in the USA for a limited time only.

And you Jerry Hendrix, have yourself a great pedal steel guitar!

The fact that Al Marcus, one of the greatest steel guitar players, and educators, in the world, owned this guitar, and is appreciated by you and I, make this a very enjoyable sale to us both!

Transaction in progress, and will notify when to close this thread, after transaction is completed.

Thank you everybody.
