This guitar is named the "Tank". It's got a neat history. It was purchased in early '69 by Jerry Lee Lewis himself directly from Emmons for his steel player, Ned Davis. Ned used this guitar on all of JLL's country albums from '69 to '72. Then Ned went on to play with Eddie Rabbitt. This guitar is on every Eddie Rabbit release. Ned passed away in the late '90s and his estate auctioned the guitar. Larry Bell got the guitar from the auction and had Mike Cass restore it. I got the guitar about 2 years ago. It's an EXCELLENT sounding/playing push/pull. It's got 9 pedals and 7 levers. It's currently set up with a standard Emmons copedent. It's rosewood mica. It has stock Emmons pickups. The E9 pickup is wound to around 15k and has a very sweet, bright tone. The "Tank" has huge sustain and a beautiful tone. It was made within months of Buddy's famous "Blade" and it looks just like it. The original red case is in decent shape.

This is an amazing guitar! The tone is unbelievable and it plays like butta'. But of course, my belief is that you should never trust a song, amp or instrument UNDER 30.
