Thanks, this is pretty, and I can actually sort of play it - my fiancee will be impressed.

historical bump...

I had tabbed this a while back, now I can post a link to an MP3 of the tune so you can try it yourself.

Tab is pretty close to the recording... I do some tricky things with knee levers in the bridge- but the tab is a close approximation,,,

have fun and let me know how it works out

Dave,
I like your tone and the clearity of the recording. What guitar/amp/effects did you use and how did you record it?
thanks,
Paul

1998 ZumSteel U12, BL"custom" pickup --> Goodrich vol pedal, Geo L cables, Line6 POD v2 using "blackface II" amp model with the spring reverb emulation ((essentially a Virtual Twin Reverb). no other effects.
Recorded thru the sound card (old Soundblaster PCI 128) from the POD into my PC running "Sonar" recording software.
more than you prolly wanted to know...

Dave:

Thanks for posting this tab, but I'm curious to know who wrote the song. I think I've heard it before but can't place "Where or when"....

Harry, according to one of my trusty Reader's Digest songbooks, this is a Rodgers/Hart tune-- Richard Rogers wrote the music, Lorenz Hart wrote the words. Copyrighted 1937. From the 1937 Broadway musical, "Babes in Arms." Has this ever been tabbed for 8-string non-pedal? Great tune!
