Here is a lick that I use once in awhile.
It will work nicely in a song like
"Whisky Under The Bridge". Use it as a
bridge going from verse to chorus;E to A,
1 to 4.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for sharing that, but here's a stupid beginner question, what's the "F" you show on the E string? Is that to raise the string? or lower it? or something else?

Regards,
Lindalu

Lindalu,
The noted "F" signifies a fourth string raise
with whatever lever you use to raise your
4th and 8th. Another note: first note is just a passing embellishment; next three are
played as a triplet; first three on nineteenth are also played as a triplet.
I hope this helps you.

Kevin,

Thanks, that helps a lot. I kinda thought it was a raise on my E's but wasn't totally sure. Still learning all this stuff y'know.

Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me.

Regards,
Lindalu
