Sacred Steel Summit @ Florida Folk Festival

I’m looking forward to the Sacred Steel Summit at the Florida Folk Festival this coming weekend (May 25-26). The festival is not limited to sacred steel and also has bluegrass, old time music, and Celtic music. 60-70 performers over 3 days! Selwyn Birchwood will be there along with a number of hall of famers. Selwyn just finished playing my new mobile steel at the New Orleans Jazz festival and I am debuting his newly designed mobile steel signature model which is much lighter and able to be put in a case in the overhead compartment of an airplane. Selwyn will be speaking about how sacred steel is moving outside the walls of the church.
