I'm selling my Gretsch G5700 lap steel with a Duesenberg Multibender.
Instrument is very clean - no nicks or gouges; just a few light swirl marks on the underside. The Multibender was professionally installed.
The current setup is pretty standard: Open D tuning with benders on the 2nd & 3rd strings that raise the pitch by a whole step & a half step respectively.
The Gretsch is a decent lap steel even without the benders. The benders open up a lot of interesting possibilities.
Includes
- Gretsch gig bag
- Original bridge and cover. You can convert it back to original and use the benders on another lap steel
- An extra set of strings; custom set for D tuning with benders.
Asking $500 plus shipping from zip 94306. I'll pack it carefully. If you're in the South Bay or Peninsula, maybe we can meet up in person.
This is a great opportunity to try a lap steel with benders. It is set up and ready to go. At this price you can scratch that bender itch and resale it later without much loss if you decide it's not for you.

Brian, I sent you an email. I've never shipped to Canada. Let me make sure that it is fairly straightforward. |
