If you reduce size to below 2400x2400, they should work. I use around 1200x1200, plus or minus to maintain the dimensional ratio, and the resolution is just fine.

I tried that. It has worked in the past. From my phone the option to choose a photo size seems to not be available anymore and when I type in a pixel max it doesn’t work.

If you can't find software for your phone to resize the photos, copy them to a real computer - there's lots of software available for this. There are a bunch of threads in the Forum Feedback section that discuss this.
