Here is Slash of the band Guns and Roses using a Hilton pedal. A friend sent me the picture and I really did not know who the guy was. I had heard of the band Guns and Roses. I don't know where he bought the Hilton pedal.

| I have listened to Saul's guitar playing, and his steel guitar playing. He is a really great guitar player, I was really impressed. His steel guitar playing fits the song. A very interesting and talented player. One of his guitar solos is ranked as the 6th best solo ever played. |

A friend of mine claims Slash bought a 59 Les Paul guitar from Tom Whitrock, a guitar dealer in Springfield, Missouri. According to my friend 59 Les Paul guitars are selling in the range of $500.000.00. Interesting in relationship to what the original Emmons push pull guitars sell for. Both guitars are rare and desired.
Another thing that caught my attention is the difference in earnings of a Rock Guitar player in a famous band, in relation to a pedal steel player in a famous band. Another thing that caught my attention was the number of people attending Rock concerns and the number of people attending Country Music concerts. I suppose there are some things I will never understand. One thing is obvious, the public's taste in music is not narrow. With that said, I have never listened to a Taylor Swift song, but I do understand millions love her music. |
