Hello,
Probably a long shot but I’m looking for a case for a Gibson EH-125 lap steel. Not really interested in having a new one made. Looking for an old used one. Let me know!
Thanks,
Nick |

If you can't find a case for your EH-125, it will fit just fine in the Gretsch G2165 Lap Steel Gig Bag. That's what I use for mine. |

Thanks Jack. I’d prefer a hard case but good to know. |

Check out online for: Oscar Schmitt Baritone ukelele case. I have one. My bakelite rics and gibson BR-6's fit nicely. I took out the box and cut some off the bottom of the neck support and lined the bottom with some foam to get the guitar up higher in the case. Works very nicely. Will be getting another one. The different makes of Baritone Uke cases are all in the ball park for measurements. Check it out. Happy shopping. Mike C |

I have a nice hard shell case from a 1946 Gibson BR-4 model. Frankly I don't know whether it will fit the model you have? That said, it's in very good condition because it's been empty for about 35 years! I probably wouldn't sell the case for less than $150 especially if I have to take the time to hunt around for a shipping box. Plus the cost to ship these things has become exorbitant! I just happened to notice your post and thought I'd at least let you know I have something that should work?
Good luck with your search efforts. Jim in Florida.

Thanks for your offer but not knowing if it will fit I’m not willing to spend that much. |

I get that but the question is whether an ES-125 lap steel is the same size as a BR-4 lap steel? I don't know the answer but I'm sure the good folks on this Forum would if you posted the question? Or you could simply look up the sizing details in one of the several books that cover lap steels such as Duchossoir's iconic book called Gibson Electric Steel Guitars. Just sayin'. |
