Update on my Sho Bud Pro1...
I started playing or rather learning on this fine instrument. Talked to a wonderful guy Derek from Rittenberry guitars and he is going to build me a new guitar...i just cant wait. Footnote this guy is the friendliest most knowledgeable and super cool dude. Hope to meet him in the future.
Also talked to Phil Bradburry from Little Walter amps and again what a gem of a builder, making me a 59 amp.
I can see that the Pedal Steel guitar community is a very friendly bunch. Wondering if any of you guys are in California and not too far from Sacramento. Would love to mingle and see whats cooking in our area....players, shows, teaching etc.
Fully committed to learning the instrument, beside mandolin and Lap steel for a few years. This is really what i always wanted to learn...a little scary and difficult to jump in but well worth it |

I'm in South Lake Tahoe, 100 miles from Sacramento. I'll be playing this weekend at McP's Taphouse this Saturday and Sunday nights and many other dates into September, most in South Lake Tahoe.

I am a new player in Marin County. I have sang and played guitar and slide for 20 years but only six months into pedal steel. Would love to jam or grab a beer if in the area. Cheers.
