Yes, I played through one many years ago. Good power, but not enough fullness or bass for my tastes. That price seems high, especially considering the condition of the amp.

I’m not looking to buy, just interested in learning more about them.

I have one that belonged to Maurice Anderson, he used it on the Johnny High music show for a while. The original speaker was replaced by a Peavey branded JBL, and it sounds great. When I first got it, I sent it to Derrell Stephens for a 100,000 mile tuneup.

Recently added a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored blue Rose, named the "Blue Bird" to the herd. Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic again that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also added a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks.

The first Evans I ever saw was similar to that. Ronnie Kirby (RIP) was playing one of his Emmons guitars through it.

Not pretty to look at; but, it sounded great.
