I made an earlier post asking a bunch of questions about recommendations and what to look for when purchasing a PSG as a beginner. What are everyone’s thoughts on the Excel S-10? Would that be a good first instrument? Any concerns when buying a used PSG, (specifically this model)? Are there specific questions I should be asking the seller? Will cabinet drop or “walking” be an issue? Thanks in advance.

You might check the nylon/plastic tuning nuts and the nylon/plastic at the bell cranks. Both types cracked on mine and consequently pedal and knee levers wouldn't hold a pitch. I ended up having to have it re-built for me using a different material.
