Interested to hear from players using this preamp.
What are you using for a power amp? What is the 3cord wiring harness? Reviews on overall performance.

Revelation is a great piece of gear and I have been using one since Brad introduced them. Wiring is easy.
Steel into Revelation impedance input {Top Jack on Rev}
Left Jack goes from Rev to input of volume pedal. Output of volume pedal goes to back to Right Input on Revelation. Output jacks on rear go to amp or powered cabinet.

The Revelation is a great preamp. I use two Furlong Split Cabinets. They are no longer being built but you can find them on the Forum ocassionally.

The Revelation is hands down the best preamp I've used for both Steel and Guitar. I've used it with a Peavey tube power amp, Halfer solid state power amp, and powered speakers with great results.
Brad Sarno makes top-notch equipment and his support is equally top-notch. |

Yes. Brad Sarno's "Revelation" Preamp is really great for both live performance and recording, which is what I use it for primarily. The 3 cable wiring is easy. The point of it is to have the pure steel signal hit the Sarno tube based "Black Box" (built inside the Rev) even before the signal sees the volume pedal or anything else. It is a cool idea that makes a difference.
I use a Tube Works MOSVALVE Mv-962 for a power amp.

I agree with all of the above. I'm using it with a Crown XLS 1002 (stereo) with two Eminence EPS 12" speakers in separate cabinets. I also get a good sound with a pair of Eminence Wheelhouse 15's in separate cabinets.
I replaced the 3 tubes with JJ 12AX7MG (mid gain) tubes. Once broken in, it's getting that tube growl (hair) that I've been looking for. I have a Carvin HT400 rack mount amp that produces well with the Rev, but it's heavier than the Crown (class D).

Wonderful sounding rig, I have one with a world amp and. Lexicon mpx1 like John Huey had , it doesn’t get any better , that rig will spoil your ears for life, but you can’t take it everywhere you go on small stages , best setup for classic country ever built

Yes. I have two Ganz Straight Ahead Class D Amps. Super light weight and lots of clean power. I have two mounted on a rack shelf so they can go into the rack case with the Rev. I have two amps because I like running two 15 inch speakers.
