I will be visiting family next week in Las Vegas, I hear about the large Hawaiian population that exits in Las Vegas. Does anyone here know of any traditional Hawaiian clubs-even groups or associations that feature real Hawaiian Music? Not two guys playing uke and guitar, but a band that features steel?

I don't know of any in particular, but if you want to make contact with the local members of the diaspora...you might contact the local Hawaiian civic club? It's possible they might know if there are actual Hawaiian bands locally. Bear in mind the civic clubs are not there primarily for music purposes, and "Hawaiian music" for native Hawaiians doesn't often mean steel guitar these days (sadly for us). But I've met some lovely people through my local branch of the civic club in KC (which is likely much much smaller than in LV). Here's their website for the LV branch.
