Enjoy ! Smile

Last I heard, Paul is doing some shows with Chris Stapleton. Robby Turner was playing steel with him in 2016. I saw Paul playing steel with him at the CMA Awards in November

Thanks for the info guys
Last I knew Paul had the steel seat for him. But I can’t find anything recent to confirm he is still with him on the road. Would have loved to see Robby tear it up.
If Paul is there it will be outstanding, I’ve met him a few times in Nashville and got to sit about 15 feet away from his performance with the Time Jumpers. Awesome is all I can say about that.

I’ll bet Paul is flying in and out of Chris’s gigs - as befits his status as an A-list musician.

I have my fingers crossed that this gig fits into his schedule.
It will be disappointing if there isn't a Steel player in the band, as so much of his music has a significant amount of outstanding steel.

I guess he couldn't get a good steel player so he had to settle for Paul Franklin, Tommy White, or Robby Turner.

Three of the best players ever to touch the instrument!

Paul Franklin was on stage w/ Stapleton in Minneapolis a few weeks ago - It was an amazing experience to see him live... and with such a good band!

Chris was on Saturday Night Live recently and it appeared to be Paul playing steel. Nice gig.

Last week, my niece back in Minnie sent me an email and said she had just seen Stapleton. She attached a short cell phone video, and commented that when she heard the "steel pedal" she had thought about me. After watching the clip, I typed back something to the effect of "girl, do you realize you just saw one of the greatest steel players on the planet?" She answered "yeah, he was pretty good."
