Sounds very cool. It’s a good fit! I love playing that funky stuff.

Watched all the way to the end, really cool. You do the backing track, too? Lots O electric instruments all around.

Steve, do you record direct into GarageBand or do you mic an amp?

That is as good a bluesy lap style performance as I've heard. Really exciting playing!

Very cool, Steve. I had that Motown head-bobbin' thing going on. And then Youtube treated me to a half hour of Patti Maxine. Gotta love it.

Thanks a lot y’all!
Andy, the lap steel was recorded during the video, using the phone mic.
Peter, I’m playing through a Fractal AX8 plugged into an EV powered speaker.

Really nice, Steve. Very soulful and great intonation. And that old Supro w/string-through pickup is perfect for that style.

Damn, some mighty fine playing!

Open E?

Would love to hear you do a version of Sacred Steel playing on that Supro.

Thanks a lot fellas.

Yeah Doug, the Supro has a really special voice.

Stephen, it is open E. I’ve actually been working on Sacred Steel in C6 the past few days. What a great sound!
