This Forum has had it's share of discussion about the late model Gretch era Sho~Buds, pot metal and all...

Here is a sound clip of a late model Pro I 6148, played over a Garth tune, replacing the original steel track.

Mike that’s a beautiful tone.

Pot metal Bud steels the late era steels our fine.

Michael Yhal has aluminum replacement parts in the event a part breaks.

There fine steels but when a rumor gets started a lot of people take it to heart
And they miss an opportunity too own a very good steel.!

Thanks Johnie, the models that have the tongued headstock, as per Paul Franklins Sr.'s suggestion really have very little cabinet drop. This is the 2nd Pro I of this era that I have had that really impressed me with its tone as well.
