Just spotted some of the new Jackson steel guitars on Bobbe's web site. Along with MSA's Legend range, these have to be among the nicest looking maple bodied guitars around.

I am intrigued by the 'floating tuning key'. Perhaps Bobbe or David Jackson could explain how this works. Certainly the actually key head assembly looks to be very substantial in the photos.

You know, anyone who is in the market for a new modern pedal steel is really spoilt for choice these days.

Ken.
Your'e right about a lot of choices.But.Not all of them are not any where as well built as ,lets say an Emmons or a mullen guitar.I guess I'll find out about the Jackson pretty soon, but have seen some just awful steel guitars that some of the students have.Iv'e seen them being able to set up, Some won't tune. That is why I bought a few extra steels. I enjoy helping out beginners very much. But now they don't need to spend time setting Up. The guitars are ready to go when they get here.According to Bobbe the jackson guitars are very nice.-but he even thinks that of me.
