Question answered by Bob at GFI.

I understand the mechanism is pull/release.

Can the copedant be changed, or it it permanent? I would need double raise/double lower.

Anyone?
Thanks.

Try to find a good deal on a used pro model from a trustworthy knowledgeable person.
the few extra bucks you may spend on a used in good condition is very little compared to trading up from student model.
most student models are very limited to set up changes.

Ernie, thanks for your offer! Check your email, I sent you a message.

Ken, as for finding a used Pro model, since I'm only looking for a straight forward S10/E9 guitar as second instrument (the strat being first), I'm not sure I need anything more than a good sounding instrument with the basic necessary pedals/knee levers.
