Got this black 3x4 expo into the shop last week. I did a copedent change to Emmons, cleaned it up (incl the changer) and did a precision set-up. I added a split tuner for the G natural split on 6, and I rolled some pickups until I found something that I liked for this one. (L-905 works good with the SS changer). Sounds good, is very lightweight and is an easy size to manage. It plays easy. and stays in tune.

See and hear it here. Cell phone video, no external mic.. starts at 30 sec.

Lovely playing John. Hope you are doing well and good luck with the sale. I really think those GFI guitars sit nice in the mix. Someone will be getting a good guitar.

My wife has a GFI Expo S-10, black like that one (with stock GFI II pickup). I've used it to track steel on a project as my Franklin was packed in the car. I hate to say it but it sounded as good as the Franklin on the recording. It was recorded Guitar to Goodrich Volume Pedal to SansAmp then direct to board.
