Looking for a decent beginner mandolin, prefer F style but will consider any model....thanks jack

I think this one is a decent entry level mando. I got one about 3 yrs. ago at GC for under $45. [Same as MusiciansFriend] If you're good with setting up the bridge and intonation, you'll need to do that...actually the tech set it up for me for free before I left the store....can't beat that.

Decent construction, sounding and playing A style that got me into the business. No truss rod, but has seen no warpage or any other problems for 3 yrs. or so.

Check Mandolin Cafe classifieds. There are 500+ mandos for sale there right now. Many are high end (including an original Gibson Lloyd Loar), but there lots of affordable ones.
