Not a tab request, but the way he outlines the melody here is something as an intermediate player I've been trying to pin down. My uneducated guess is maybe he's on 5&6? It has that mournful edge to it that's found in so many pads and fills in other songs. Haven't found the sound yet, so I hope someone has insight. I open the floor to the masters..

Can't help you with that, Lloyd's ways to play are usually different than one would think. I can only tell you that it was recorded on a 8 string guitar. _________________ ----------------------------------

What I hear (or think I hear) is the melody played on the B string (1st verse) and on the high E string (last verse), while a harmony is played more softly on the high G# string. Beautiful playing! _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Volume pedal mastery! Finding the notes is one thing. Expressing them is another.
Tab on this would be nearly useless. |
