The vol. pedal is a Carter. If you don't need the pedal I will pay shipping on the guitar. |

Pardon my rookie ignorance at this subject...What does double E's on left knees mean? How different is this Carter than a really nice Show Bud professional with original pickups? Thanks |

Hi Shane, E's on the left means the left knee left raises the E's and the left knee right lowers the E's. As far as difference in guitars, it's a preference to how they play, weight, and tone. All brands are a little different. It is usually what the player likes and hears. Most older players tend to purchase lighter guitars as they lose strength as they age. A Carter is considerably lighter than a similar ShoBud. Also the ShoBud is a lacquer body and most Carters are formica covered maple. |

Shane,
Also, the Carter is a modern steel guitar, using up to date mechanism, bell crank technology. Much like most other s these days.

Hi Shane, Let me add that this particular guitar has a super sweet tone and really cuts through when playing out live with a band. Also it has a really cool color and looks good on the bandstand. It is fully adjusted to perfection and is ready to play. It is priced to sell and is a great buy. |
