Very Happy Was this guitar built by Duane Marrs? Were there helicoils inserted in the End plates so the legs would not wiggle? And is there a hole in between where someone accidentally drilled through from the underside?

Damir,

Beautiful guitar as usual. I have a question concerning Shobud labeling this guitar a Pro III. There were so many iterations of the Shobuds it is difficult for me to keep it clear.

This guitar has the gumby headstock, and the 2-hole pulls, which are early Shobud designs. I have normally seen these on Pro I guitars. So what characteristics make this a Pro III?

There is a book in here somewhere.

Cheers, Bryan

Damir,

Now I can sleep tonight. Really great guitar. Best of luck on the sale, this guitar looks in fantastic shape. Do you know the year?

I love the 2-hole pulls.

Cheers, Bryan

I notice that this gtr has the smaller size gumbys...as well as the smooth narrow pedals.
Very nice steel...

Damir,
I have a D-10 Pro II that has the smaller Gumby key heads. It has a 24-1/2 inch scale. I have been told that there were only 8 Sho-Buds made with the 24-1/2 inch scale. Check to see if that could possibly be one. I know that is what Lloyd Green's guitar is. My guitar is the best sounding Sho Bud I have ever heard.
