Hi Guys,
Since I got a Match-Bro without true bypass, I got on a mission to build a pedal board with a 2 circuit true bypass loop.
I have the MB on one loop and my Zoom multistomp on the other. I use a black box and a Korg tuner (true bypass)
So, I got the whole thing rigged up and working and realize that the match-bro after the volume pedal isn't right, the intensity changes with volume.
Sooo, I'm trying to figure out how to keep the match-bro in a bypass loop and still have it before the VP?
Only way I can see is to put the looper and effects all BEFORE the VP which I always heard was incorrect.
Any ideas if I didn't lose you 2 paragraphs ago?
thx

For your reason and for another---I once had a very embarrassing gear failure that I thought was the backline amp distorting (and I busted the sound guy's ass) until I discovered that it was a dying battery in my MB and I vowed that never again would I run a battery effect without being able to switch it out of the signal path---
Anyway, it wasn't pretty but I piggybacked a mini-bypass-looper to the MB with velcro.

I think you are the one that steered me to the loopmaster company. Problem is I want the MB before the VP and other effects after? _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRwye98siA4

The guitar goes into the MB, clipped to the leg (actually, it goes into the looper that is mounted to the MB), then from the looper to the volume pedal and from there to everything else. You switch the MB in/out of the signal path via the mounted looper. |

Yeah, I can't do it that way because I use the black box and it has to be first in line after the pickup. That's my quandary; it sounded awful when I ran the MB into the Black box. Even with your setup, the MB would be before the BB unless I'm missing something?

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see why you can't go straight into the BB, then the MB (looper), then the volume pedal. |
