This listing is for a Sho~Bud LDG SD10 3x4 Pedal Steel Guitar, Original Sho~Bud Hard Shell Case, a Leg / Rod Bag & Fine Tuning Key.
The Sho~Bud LDG Lloyd Green is one of the most iconic Pedal Steel Guitars ever made. To this day they are revered for their classic looks and sound. The tones on these old Buds are amazing and you can't quite get them anywhere else.
Mechanically the guitar is working properly. The set up is 3x4 standard Emmons E9 (Es on left) w/ RKL F#s + 1/2 & RKR D#-1 and D-1/2. This is a late model 2 hole w/ teardrop levers and a 3/2 changer, most likely one of the last 2 hole LDGs built. The changer has been fully disassembled cleaned and reassembled, as well as the entire undercarriage. It has been freshly strung/set up and is ready to take on a gig.
Cosmetically the guitar is in good condition & the undercarriage is very clean. Having said this it is not perfect. The finish does show some age with some scuffs/dings here and there as well as some fading. The aluminum has dulled over time and is not as shiny as it once was, most notably on the pedal bar. Also there is a small tear on the edge of the pad. The case also has some tolex missing but is still fully functional. All of these issues are purely cosmetic and do not impact the playability of the guitar.
Really cool guitar here, it's definitely one of the better sounding LDGs I've played.
