Kinda dig this strange little track I threw together quickly, featuring a vintage Kay K155 lap steel that just arrived ., with the super-cool string-through pickup. Love the BIG tone of this thing!

EBEABE tuning (DADGAD, one step up)

Lap steel with drums, percussion and synth loops, recorded in GarageBand, using an Orange amp I customized in Amplitube 3.

Tribal Techno Modal Late Night Noodle Jam!

Enjoy??

Sounds good, Jim. It's a good mix of track and steel. Nice playing!

Thanks, Bill!

It's E Modal.......

EBEABE (low to high)

Basically just simple Open E, with the G# raised to A. Gives it a more open, floaty, ambiguous sound.
