For sale: this excellent condition RAM Neo Grande single 8 string lap/console guitar. It is made of beautiful amber birdseye maple with matching veneer fretboard, black trim, brass name plaque, and chrome tuners. It is 22.5” scale, has 3/8” bridge spacing, can be played standing or sitting while supported by the included 3 legs and sockets, and is powered by a Lollar Console Grande single coil 8 string pickup. Guitar is lightly used and has clear bell-like tone. The steel is protected by a strong foam-padded GunGuard case and D2F leg bag.

That might depend on who is at the wheel. Say, Cindy Cashdollar and it would sound great.

Fortunately that hum is an easy fix due to proximity of the bridge to the jack. You can remove the bridge and drill a small hole angled towards the route where the jack is mounted. Then solder a small wire to the ground tab of the output jack and run it through the drilled hole. Remove the insulation and tighten the bridge down onto the bare wire. Your strings will be grounded and the hum is gone. I just did exactly the same thing on the cool old Dobro E-45. It suffered the exact same issue. Note the position of the jack to the string mount. Similar to the Ram. It is perplexing that such a simple step is overlooked. That Ram is beautiful! Good luck with the sales.

For anyone interested, I am providing these utube links to show how the Lollar Console Grande pickup sounds with me plunkin' on
this Neo Grande Solo8 guitar. The amp I used is a cheap Fender 22R with hemp-cone speaker.

The RAM NeoSolo8 has gone to a happy home. New owner found the ad on another web-site.
