Hey Steelers,
Care to help cheer up a legend? Cindy Cashdollar clued me in that Herb Remington is recovering with some health issues related to a fall he had earlier this Summer. He was at a facility where nobody knew of him or his legacy in music but is headed home now.

It would really cheer him up to hear that he's remembered with great affection by our community. Here's where to send a card/letter.

Herb Remington
Twenty One Oh 2 Jean St.
Houston, TX 77023

* note: I messed with the address to confuse the spambots!

Andy, is that his home address? I'm glad he didnt have to stay in the care facility too long. I already started a note to him...I'm trying that F# tuning he used with strings 7 and 8 tuned up high...from your wonderful book I got recently. Thanks for heads up.

We both grew up in Mishawaka/South Bend IN, although Herb was gone pursuing his great musical career long before mine (if you could even call it that) started.

I sent a few words his way wishing him a speedy recovery.
