Wildwood Troubadour 5-string banjo, in excellent condition, with tubaphone ring - this adds resonance and depth and makes the banjo sound amazing!
Wildwood rims are completely different from conventional rims. Where as conventional rims are “wrapped laminatesâ€, our rims are machined from solid rock maple blocks. The effect is obvious as soon as you play one of our banjos. The volume, the clarity, the character of the sound are all due to the solid nature of these rims. Each rim is machined to exacting spec’s, bound and purfled to match the neck (on open back models only), and stained to match the color of the neck.
The price is about 30%-50% off of retail...this banjo is in excellent condition. It hardly has been played. I had it completely set up and frets leveled (didn't really need that, but I did it anyway)...I planned to add banjo to my multi-instrumental abilities, but just never really got around to it...
Includes professionally installed D-Tar pickup, a collaboration between Seymour Duncan (pickup master) and Rick Turner (acoustic instrument designer), which doesn't affect the acoustic tone, and reproduces it faithfully when plugged in.
Includes OHSC.
