... and new to the lap steel.

Hi all,

finally picked up a lap steel in C6. I have been a performing and recording musician for a very long time, these days I am mainly focused on experimental electronica under my moniker "Worsel Strauss", but I am also a guitar player, which seems to help a little bit in learing how to play the lap steel.

There are no instructors in my area, so I am relying on Troy's and Doug's materials.

So much to discover, I have many newbie questions, which I will post eventually.

For now, this is an example of what I have been doing so far:

Hello Peter, and welcome to the Forum.
I like to experiment too, it keeps the mind fresh. I have a one man Campervan kitted out as a mobile studio and go into the wilderness of Scotland for inspiration, you will see pictures of that here in my Videos.

I don't use Pedals or Loopers just the Software included in my DAW program on my battery powered Laptop to add any effects you hear. I don't have an Instructor either.
