OzSGA 2017 Aug Jam
In spite of the on-off rain, we had a nice crowd and everyone had a great time!The following players were able to attend: A new member, Ken Farmer from Ava, Mo; Steve Melchi; Eddie Lane; JoAnn Kreder; Terry Bethel; and David Dean White. The band started out with Buddy Lewis on bass & vocals; Russ Burns on drums & vocals and was later joined by Bernie Johnson (BJ) on lead.The singers not only included Buddy and Russ but Cathy Smeenk; Sheena Beauchamp; & Charlie Steichen also!
We had about 20 in the crowd plus 7 players & 3 in the band for a total of 30.
A big thank you to Terry Bethel, Charlie and Rosemary Steichen, all the players, band and singers for all they do to keep the jam sessions going. Thanks to Sheena Beauchamp for taking pictures to document the fun times we have together. Thanks to everyone who brings food to feed this hungry bunch and to the Stone Castle Hotel for providing not only a beautiful venue but making sure we have water, coffee, and supplies!
Hoping many more can make the October Jam on the 15th and the Christmas Party/Jam on Dec 10th!
