Don't know about the Telonics but the E66 Geroge L is too bright and brittle for me. I like the 10-1 better.

I'd get the Telonics between those two.
The E-66 somehow suppresses the soul in the playing.
I find the tone of the E-66 pleasing enough, but it's not enjoyable to play through.

I have 10-1's in my Mullen RP on both necks. I love the soft highs that I get from them as apposed to the single coil. A lot of your tone is going to happen with the right hand as well. I also have a Mullen G2 with stock single coils pickups. I find that when I recorded with the single coil pickups they were a little thinner than the 10-1's. I can't give you any information on the E66 pickups. I have not played any steel with them installed. Hope this helps Warren.

What Lane said!I replaced the stock pickups on a ShoBud Superpro that I had one time with 10-1's and really brought that guitar to life.Don't recommend the E66 at all.
