Very, very happy with this new 10-string lap by the fabulous Jimmie Husdon. Even my wife likes it!

Nice guitar but I think you need some more stomp boxes. Whoa!

This, leaving off the bottom two lowest strings and starting at Eb instead of Ab:

Clever.

That's the one inversion of a M7 I haven't used as I never found a use for it straight like that. 7-3-1.

Welcome to E13th world. Let's keep in touch as it'd be great to find some new approaches. .

Lovely instrument, and you're a better man than I to deal with more than 6 or 8 strings!

Thanks! It actually makes total sense to me because I had been playing 8 string in a modified Hindustani tuning with 2nd's and flatted flatted 4th's, straight 4th's, 6's and sometimes 9's and was starting to find it a tad limiting. Wouldn't have found it without your website so cheers!

Thanks! I went from 6 to 8 to 10 but I'm stopping here. I play with a lot of jazz guys and 6 to 8 was daunting at first but after a year it seemed natural.

I never quite understood the 6/8 is enough mentality on steel but if I said the word "pedal steel" everyone accepts ok 10 strings is what is needed with levers and pedals.

Why not a 6/8 string pedal steel? No

I think its cause we all know its limited.

So why not apply the same thinking for Lap Steel Guitar Laughing Whoa!

You don't have to share if you want to keep it private, but how much does one like that cost?

Roughly $800. Not bad at all.

BTW-I can sort of closely approximate pedal steel bends with the Digitech Ricochet pedal set to 2nd's so it's almost like pedal steel.

Nice guitar.
When I see a 10 string lap steel with straight string spacing Billy Robinson comes to mind - a great bar slant guy.
