Volume Pedal

I just started playing steel and I'm using an Ernie Ball volume pedal. It's what I'm used to from playing guitar; I just don't think it's getting the job done on steel. I am now looking for a Goodrich, if anyone has one up for sale.

Or you could put a more Steel friendly 500k ohm pot in the EB.

UPDATE!!!!

I have found a Goodrich and it is on it's way! I'm sure it will be just fine but I will keep everyone's responses in case I have an issue! Thanks to everyone who hit me up with a used pedal. I appreciate that!
