This listing is for a 1979 Sho~Bud Super Pro D10 8x5 Double Neck Pedal Steel Guitar, original hard shell Sho~Bud case, leg/rod bag & fine tuner key.

What an amazing guitar this is!!! The Super Pro is one of the best guitars Sho~Bud ever made. By this point in Sho~Bud's history the design had become very refined and to this day the Super Pro can hold pace with many modern Pedal Steel Guitars, while still offering that classic Sho~Bud tone you just can't find anywhere else. Not to mention that amazing classic look. Show up to a gig with this beauty and everyone will know you mean business!

Cosmetically this is an absolutely stunning example. The red stain is still very bright and the aluminum is still holding a very nice polish. With good care and regular cleaning it can look this good for many years to come.

Having said all this the guitar is not in 'mint' condition. There are small dings on the top between the necks, scratches here and there as well as small signs of age, it is from 1979 after all. The only real notable flaw is some finish cracking along the top ribbon on the front of the cabinet (pictured). Other than this the guitar looks amazing.

Mechanically it is 100%. The pot metal lever mounts have been replaced w/ modern parts so no worries of them snapping. The fine tuner nuts are new as well. Underneath you will notice where the old mounts used to be but other than that it is very clean. All of this work was done to extend its life and make the guitar more playable.

The copedent is 8x5 standard Emmons (E's) on left with LKVertical lowering your B's by 1/2. It has been freshly strung/tempered and is more than ready to take on a gig.

The original case is also in excellent condition as this guitar has been very well cared for over the years.

This is an absolutely awesome example of an excellent Guitar so don't miss out!!!

Thanks!

Beautiful Guitar! Wish I had the funds. Lots of that good old country tone in this bad boy I'm sure!
