I was privileged to have this album autographed by Robie at his induction into the Hall of Fame. For me, it was a 42 year wait to finally meet my hero. Cool

Rob was on all the variety TV shows when I was a kid. He just about held his own against the rise of Shadows style guitar instrumentals, but once the Beatles and Stones broke, Rob disappeared. I think he became a record producer and engineer. For popular steel guitar in Australia, he was preceded by the great Les Adams.
